Goal of the job:
To ensure two-way symmetrical communication flow within the organisation
To adequately inform employees of management activities and intentions as well as general company activities to secure their support, co-operation and understanding and also promote general knowledge
To manage the various religious, ethnic and cultural diversities with the organisation with a view to facilitating a generally acceptable corporate culture.
To provide structured feedback to management
Role Description:
Manage information to and engagement with employees on the organsional transformation
Act as anchor for in-house publications and intranet
Ensure employees are provided adequate and up-to-date information on activities of the company
Publicise and Interpret management actions
Provide monthly structured feedback to management on employee issues
Draft and produce CEO’s messages to employees
Publicise all company activities, including regional activities, on the intranet
Liaise with HR to develop a recreational platform to foster cross-functional collaboration and staff
Requirements for suitable candidates:
1 Qualification:
Minimum of 2nd Class Lower Degree in Mass Communication or any social science discipline. Membership of NIPR is relevant.
2 Experience:
6-8 years experience in internal communications, PR, employee communications or journalism
Other Information:
1 Attributes:
Good presentation and interpersonal skills. Adaptable, accountable, and aggressive. Excellent flair for writing
