A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering is required.


Experience :


The successful candidate must have at least 2 to 5 years experience in the maintenance field on an Oil and Gas production installation. A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations is required.

Good knowledge of oil analysis, vibration analysis, balancing, laser alignment, boroscopic survey, CATERPILLAR gas engines diagnosis is also required.


Skills :


The successful candidate should be able to lead /motivate his team and build/maintain good relationships with colleagues and others.

He/ she should also be computer literate: A knowledge of MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, IBM Lotus Notes is required, and a good knowledge of CMMS : SAP/R3 is also an added advantage. He/she must be competent and independent in his field and should have good organisational and planning abilities. He should also be able to communicate (written & oral)effectively.
